You can do it yourself with a quit claim deed at the county courthouse/offices where the property is located. To do so, the property taxes need to be up to date with nothing outstanding. Otherwise you pay them when you file the deed.
I do not remember if there is a charge involved with filing the quit claim deed but if there is it is very minimum, possibly somewhere between $0-$35. Additionally there will be the cost of obtaining the form and having it notarized by a notary public (although some banks provide this service to members at no cost).
Alternatively, you can use a lawyer's services and it will cost between $200-$400, depending on what area the house is located in.

Good luck to you.

If the home is owned outright, then it will be cheaper than having to file a quit claim deed. If you do not need an abstract or title search, it should cost about $260 dollars not including your local county fees.
If the home has a lien on it, you owe a mortgage, the abstract is required, or you need a re-survey, the dollar amount can go up to 3% of the cost of the house.
