They need O-line, and they could probablt trade down to get it. Ahman Green is going no where unless they learn to run-block.

I think it's too late to get a WR in free agency, unless they can swing a deal with the Rams for Kevin Curtis. He'd work fine, and isn't injury prone like Stallworth. Returns kicks too...
Kubiak is like Shanahan in that they both prefer veterans at the skill positions...

Draft or if they pick up Donte Stallworth he would be a good fit. The Texans have bigger concerns then WR like they need some better def players but I wouldnt be suprised if they take a WR in the end of the first day or earlier the second.

I'd have to say that the team is actually not bad at the WR position and they should concentrate on fixing other areas that need it a lot more. They really need help at RB, QB and on defense. They are reportedly looking to draft DT Alan Branch of Michigan with the 8th overall pick in the draft. Look for them to address the RB position in round 2 and either sign a free agent QB or trade for one. Don't think they'll add any WRs due to their weaknesses elsewhere.

I don't see them drafting a WR in the 1st round unless they trade up (with cleveland maybe) to get Calvin Johnson, Andre Johnson and calvin Johnson, that would be brilliant but I doubt it

maybe a with there second round pick there will still be some good WRs on the board like (Anthony Gonzalez, OSU) or (steve Smith USC) but I think they have more important positions to fill

There are few free agent WR that I think will make an impact, Stallworth maybe but I don't think he would be a good fit,
the WR I think they can go after is
Patrick Crayton (played well for the Cowboys but didn't shine behind T.O. and terry Glenn)
or Kevin Curtis (good posesion WR with surpising speed)

i think they would be better served to get one in free agency, unless they were to trade down in the first round to collect more draft picks and take someone like a ted ginn or dwayne jarrett...when the texans pick, the only top caliber WR, calvin johnson, will be off the board, so they would have to take a big risk and reach for ted ginn to take a wideout at their draft spot...they would simply be better off by giving a lesser-known WR like some of the ones that have been mentioned a shot

i think it could be a good choice, but i dont think thats what they are going for. my choice for that franchise would either have to be Brady Quinn, because David Carr hasnt done anything since he was drafted and they have given him too long for his chance. i think they will eihter get Quinn or go defense and get LaRon Landry the safety from LSU. he really proved himself at the combine and blew up as one of the top defensive backs the draft. they could even possibly get Amobi Okoye the defensive tackle from Louisville. they need some serious help from both lines but i think the defensive side is what they need help with the most.
