The drive time changes with the temp out side if it is coulder out the longer it gos. it has a new trans,catalytic's,and new 02 sencers. My scaner dosent say enyting is rong even when it is faling with the scaner conected. has gas spark etc. some days while you are driving if you floor it it does nothing.

It is the ignition coil system that is the problem.When it heats up the components inside expand when hot and short out.

Dude, it's a Ford! What do you expect??
That being said, it's not worth fixing. It will just break again and/or something else will break. That's what Ford does; it's their specialty. Save yourself money: Sell it while it's still worth something and buy a real car.

some cars have a switch in the transmission, when it goes bad your car won't shift into gear, I think it's called a lock-up selinoid switch,
