i have been friends with a guy for about 4 years now and last night he kissed me. i realy like him, but just as a friend. i grew up in a broken home and have no interest in being the "other woman" i laughed it off and went home but i am worried that he will see that as an acceptance of his action. i dont want to lose him as a friend, how can i let him know my feelings for him are purely platanic without hurting his feelings or his "manhood"

Of course you can let him know how you feel and that's the only way that you can save the relationship. Any person who believes in the idea of "man-hood" being damaged isn't worth hanging with anyway. He should be independent enough to take disappointment without feeling like he's not meeting society's idea of what a man should be.

If he's married and is trying to get physically intimate with you, he has no respect for you. He thinks you're willing to act like a cheater with him, and that you don't value yourself enough to demand he respect you. I don't know why you'd want to be friends with this jerk, or want to protect his feelings. He doesn't care about you if he thinks you'll cheat with him, or that he can use you for his own gratification.

number one you don't have to let him know your guys relationship is platonic hes married he should already know that!number two i wouldn't say anything to wife but i would definitely let him know you are not that type of woman and you will not stand a cheating spouse! now you don't have to be mean about it,but be straight and Stearn,he knows you,he will get the picture!

that did happen to me once, i ignored him and told his wife, my best friend. if a guy who is married kisses you--he thinks you have low standards and you are cheap, get some class.
[would you want that as a husband?] he's no friend.
