I generally trust people until proven wrong, unfortuantely recently I have learned that I had put me trust in a wromg person, some times those who don't know best are more trustworthy as they don't have their own selfish negative agenda

I give most people at least one chance. That way, when they screw up I can say "Hey, I gave you a chance, and you screwed up." It makes it easier for the next time. Is that cynical? Look, everyone makes mistakes. When it comes down to it, my best friends are no more reliable than total strangers. As a result, I try not to rely on anybody.
