Yes and I have voted for both in the past. I would rather vote for a conservative Democrat or Liberal Republican than either a liberal Democrat or conservative Republican. Stay in the middle and away from the extremes.

Since I'm a Democrat, I'd be more likely to vote for a liberal Republican. Seems to me that a liberal Republican takes much more courage to take a stand than a conservative Democrat. It's weird but I would resent a conservative Democrat--even though the conservative Democrat and liberal Republican might turn out to see eye-to-eye!!!

I am a conservative first, a Republican second. I will never vote for a liberal, be he/she a Republican or Democrat. But let's face it, a conservative Democrat is about as rare as morals in Bill Clinton.

If someone is a liberal Republican or a conservative Democrat, that would make them a Centrist. In theory, that's where elections are usually won.

Its a known fact that the majority of Senators and Congress will vote straight down party lines, people who say "I vote for the candidate" clearly are not paying attention...there are rare exceptions,ie; Ron Paul,Lincoln Chafe

I don't vote for labels. I vote for the person who I believe would do their BEST to serve this country (& not make us look like idiots to the rest of the world).
