I agree the Vancouver Canucks will hoist the Cup! The Canucks have all the Ingredients in place. They have arguably the NHL's Vezina Trophy Winner in Roberto Luongo. They have the Sedin Twins, Markus Naslund, and perhaps the most complete Roster in the NHL.

Red Wings,

Playing well, always consistant, good coaching, playoff proven.

The team is so outstanding that every year they don't win the cup it is considered a disappointment. That should tell you something right there.

That said, Zetterberg and Datsyuk need to play like they do in the regular season and there isn't the depth there used to be. Nashville has the second best chance followed by Anaheim. The East will make their usual contribution to the "also ran" category with some boring team.

i am the biggest pens fan ever i am 25 i had season tickets since 19, have malkin crosby fleury staal and gonchar jerseys malkin is signed and fleury also

it will be pens and tampa fighting for the spot for east with pens winning they are solid all around the defense is shaky but they have pulled it together the goaltending needs to step up the reason i pick pens is they beat atlanta buffalo nashville new jersey and ottawa how solid are those teams now

in the west nashville now with foresberg kariya and sullivan come on look out and the ducks

so its penguins and nashville in the end its close if the pens keep what they been doing stanley champs if they dont nashville wins they killed nashville 4 to 1 on feburary 6th who says maybe another 4 times

PENS STANLEY WINNERS STAY IN PITTSBURGH

San Jose Sharks.

They have a solid team with one of the best powerplays and one of the best 1-2 punch players in Marleau and Thornton. They have 2 starting goaltenders in Nabby and Vesa. They have depth, youth and size. They upgraded their defense by adding experience and leadership with Craig Rivet. They also now have another awesome winger in Bill Guerin to add to their arsenal of attacks! They are on a small winning streak right now, and will put it all together and make a run for the division lead real soon. And next year....watch out for Devon Setoguch

I am a Montreal fan, I will be lucky if my team makes it into the first round ... lol. I would have to say Vancouver ... they now have what they have been missing all these years ... a goalie.
Everyone knows, your goalie takes you all the way .... Pittsburgh is about to learn this ... as they watch all the shots from the blueline squeeze through the legs of their goalies they can look up and wave at the healthy scratch they traded for ... Laroque.

The Buffalo sabres... Even though I am not a fan of them they have been getting better and better the last 2 years and they have just been dominating the league this year so they will probably win the cup.

I think Nashville will. That will be just another name of and expansion / moved team to add to the list of winners since the Blackhawks added a trophy to the case.

If, and this is a big IF, Detroit makes it through the first round I like their chances to hoist the cup. Bertuzzi needs to be in the lineup for this to happen. If he is out, I like New Jersey.

The New York Rangers...

Oh wait...They won't even make the playoffs! And it hasn't been 54 years yet.
