Does your living room lamp light turns yellow light from white light?

I have a living room lamp that I got from IKEA. It had very bright white light for first 3 weeks but eventually the light turned gloomy and yellow. I tried changing a light bulb (150 W) but it was no use.
Does this ever happen to your lamp?
If you know any good lamp with super bright white light, please let me know.

Look for HID lamps. High Intensity Discharge.

This happens to my lamp ALOT. I'm not quite sure I can suggest any lamps though.
