I've been to London and I think the culture there is alot more refined and rich in history...

Having lived in both countries, yes I do. But the reason why is the very reason why i love living here--everything is so much more convenient.

You don't find drive thrus in the UK, and when I lived there, appliances had to require the purchase of a plug as well. Live is just easier in the US.

No I don't. I think the two are very, very, similar in most respects. There's decadence in both cultures, I guess. It all depends on your definition of decadence and culture, too.

Both countries God and Morals have been flushed down the Toilet. The only difference I see is Americans drink coffee, The British drink Tea and know how to use fancy silverwear.

brancomicguy? if we (brits) drink tea and you drink coffee, then why does my town centre have three costas.. possibly 4.. and 5 or 6 starbucks? not the whole town, just the town centre. and that's without all the other coffe stalls and coffee bars. i tell you, as a student i was blazing. heroine shique got moved over and caffine ruled my college. sorry, ranting. surely the tea and coffee thing is stereotypical. one thing is true- tea solves all conflict! i dont even like tea but i feel calm after a cup. send some earl grey to bush would you? from all the uk-ers who want their people to come home.

I think XXI century's culture is decadent, period.
No matter where from, we are all going down...it's the sign of the times, hang on to Jesus, it's the only thing we can do.

I'm not sure because I have never lived in or met anyone fromt he UK.

I'm sure I should believe all the tabloid and media hype though, right? lol

I'm American so I must be some Porche driving, TV excessive watching, fat-bas*ard havin', drug snortin' behind, huh? :)
