Kind of a broad question, but I can give you a way to get started anywho.

First you'll need a web page editor. I recommend NVU. It's free, and a lot better than some paid for programs like Frontpage.

Building just a basic a basic site in there is not too difficult.

Then you'll need a web server. If you want a free one, I would recommend sitesled.

If you're wanting to make money, try adding adds to your site. There's plenty of sites that will let you do that.

go to geocities & follow the step by step destructions. i got it down in an afternoon, & i'm a technotard. try the library for the old "websites for dummies".

you can use a tutorial site like trellix or you can learn the codes to create a site via notepad
