if you got a packet of preservative from the florist, that it the best. If not, you can use an aspirin or even sprite.

best to keep the roses in a cool...not frigid place. The temp should not be below 40 degrees or the petals will begin to blacken.

Every other day, remove the roses and cut them at a 45 degree angle. remember not to leave any leaves in the water. submerge in water, and make sure that the water level does not get too low.

Do not keep the roses near open vents (blowing on the flowers) or near fruit or vegetables as they emit ethelyn gas vapors which cause the roses to prematurely die.

Enjoy them!

Cool water and keep changing the water. Also try to keep them in a cool dry area , Like a refridgerator.

Freash cut flowers wilt up in warm weather.

I've read in the past that a little beer in the water will help keep them fresh longer. I don't remember the source so procede with caution. Glenn

Put an aspirin in the water. Sounds strange, but it works.
