Crosby has more assists than either of them have points. I am not taking too much away from them, they are good young offensive talents.......in the regular season, but please put away your anointing oils Wings fans. They seem to get alot of love on here, maybe it is just the same people praising them over and over but these 2 are the biggest choke artists to come along since Alexei Yashin.

Scoring in a conference known for defence? The west has always been considered more of a wide open style of play conference while the east has been known as tighter checking conference.

As a Wings fan, I will say it is because they are successful scoring in a conference noted for defense. Before the All-Star game, the debate regarding which team would win focused on the East's offense and the West's defense.
However, I think the most important thing to remember is that Datsyuk and Zetterberg get attention on Yahoo! Answers because they aren't mentioned very often on actual sports news sites. Everyone hears about Crosby, but for those of us who don't need to worry about Pittsburgh (excepting maybe the hope that they move out west so Detroit can move to the Eastern Conference), the conversation centers on those stars that shine in the West, be they excellent goalies or younger offensive talents not named Crosby, Ovechkin, or Staal.

They are the hottest line since the all star break right now. The two know eachothers styles so well and they pull off a lot of crazy plays. Theyre great defensively too and Zetterberg will be one of the front-runners to win the selke this year. And although Datsyuk hasnt been great in the playoffs so far, I cant understand why you would call Zetterberg a choke artist, he played really well last post-season.

I could have guessed an insecure moron with nothing better to do than to complain that people like 2 other players better than Crosby, would take affense to my comment and in lame fasion flip it on me and fail misserably in doing so. Good Game buddy.

Listen, the hockey press LOVES the Red Wings. Anyime the Red Wings look poor the press says they are "really good, really they are, just wait a few weeks or months..." and when they are good they say "oh, the Wings are under-performing bt believe me, by April they will be flying through the playoffs" and when they are great they say "GOOD GOD! This is the BEST collection of players in the history of the game..."
Just accept that it will always be that way and move on.

Because there one of the top teams of the leauge and they are the best offencive players on the wings. And Zetterberg is very good.
