I need to know how you extract salt from sea water.

how lewis and clark did.

well are you talking about desalinization??
do you want to keep the fresh water or do you want just the salt?
if you want the fresh water you boil the water with another pan or cantainer on top of it, so when the fresh water evaporates you get all of the fresh water on the "lid"
if you dont want the fresh water boil it...

I'm not sure how Lewis and Clark did it, but I know that if you boil the seawater until all the water evaporates, the salt will be left on the bottom because salt isn't soluble and is still there when combined with water.
