No, I think Atlantis did exist but was buried in the ocean by an earth quake. If the did exist like I believe, I do think they were advanced for their day as was the Aztecs, but no where near as advanced as we are today.

Thanks for the link and book suggestion siobhan. :-)
While I do believe the Atlanteans did exist and that they had some advanced know-how, I don't believe they physically traveled to other planets. It wouldn't surprise me to learn they did possess understanding of crystals and astral travel. But it was a time of change.
The human race had found means to meet the basic needs of food and shelter and were therefore freed up enough to grapple with emotions. Mankind had moved from a stage of infancy to that of a youngster. After many years of study and comparitive research I tend to think the Bible story of Noah is explaining the submergence of Atlantis. The emotional, selfish chaos had reached such a point that the slate was wiped clean except for a few good seeds to start the new cycle of growth.

Of course not.
1/. There were no Atlanteans.
2/. Plato was probably talking about the Minoans.
The Minoans did not have space travel.
3/. All other Atlantean tales are fiction.

Ok, first I recommend the book "Discover Atlantis" by Diana Cooper (link to review of this book below). She feels that each Atlantean had their own crystal, which when they held it, would make them feel comforted - travel to planets was not for the ordinary Atlantean, the crystal had to do for feelings of homesickness. Planetary travel was more for the Magi and Priests who could go into chambers and astral travel to the planets. You have to read this book if you're interested in Atlantis!

No. Atlantis is just a myth. They had a program on the history channel about it and it turns out that plato's story of atlantis was probably just the ancient minoans. They did not possess space travel.

If Atlantis did exist, it's inhabitants were no more advanced than the ancient Greeks, so no.

Any civilization that advanced would have left something behind that would have been discovered by now.
