Okay, I need a thesis statement on the Osborne 1. It was the first laptop computer invented bt Adam Osborne. I suck at thesis statements so I don't know what to do. Please, it's for my science report. The report is going to be on the inventor, which is Adam Osborne, how, when, and why it was invented, why it's useful, how it works, and how it affects the society.

well a thesis statement summarizes what you are goingto talk about. You wrote what you have in your essay already. So make it more exciting. How about: Adam Osbourne invented the Osborne 1, the first laptop computer. The osborne 1 is very useful, it works......., and affects society.
Something like that okay. My example sucked but whatever, it''s just an idea.

Your thesis statement should be something you predict. I did a research paper on capital punishment on if it was bias/racist against black people. My thesis statement went something like "captial punishment is fair regardless of what kind of skin color you have.''. So how about Adam Osborne intenvented the first labtop computer, it has been the most helpfull and sucessfull tool today. Or something like that, make it a statement. It doesn't have to be correct, because your thesis may prove incorrect. Mine was. I hope this helps.
