i got 150 gallons of oil on monday today is thursday and im out. is this possible

lets see maths again.....150 gallons.....3 days.....thats................................. 50 gallons a day right..
24 hours in a day......so thats 2 gallons / hour.....approx..
so.....how big is your heater????????????????
get a 1 gallon tin......hook it up & see if you use it in half an hour??

Depends on where you live and how big the place is that you are heating. Running through 150 gallons in four days does seem quite excessive. I would have your tank looked at.

What size unit in what temperature zone? If you're heating a hotel in below zero temperatures, you would use a LOT, for a one bedroom in Florida, not much.

Where do you live? It would take three years to use that much here on the Gulf Coast....
