Newton's 1st law- If an object that is not moving will not move until a net force acts upon it, and if an object that is in motion will not change velocity (accelerate) until a net force acts upon it.

Newton's 2nd law- the rate of change of momentum of a body is proportional to the resultant force acting on the body and is in the same direction.

Newton's 3rd law- to every action there is always opposed an equal reaction

Just think of it like this:

Newton's 1st Law : Inertia

Newton's 2nd Law : F = ma

Newton's 3rd law : Action- reaction

For Newton's 3rd Law, and example is when you fire a gun. The kickback from the gun is the opposite reaction. You have to place the butt of the gun against your shoulder and sometimes it leaves a bruise because of the force of it slamming back into your shoulder when you fire.
