...by using childish primacy arguments like "I had it first" and "god gave it to me, it's mine"?

Child: "MommYYYYYYY! Those dirty liberals took it, and they wont give it back!"

Mommy: "Well honey, it isn't really yours. Remember when we talked about sharing...........?"

Because they are (or think they are) in the majority, and they believe "majority rules" regardless of what the Constitution says.

But I like your quotes. While stereotypical, I've seen enough case where the analogy is accurate.

Argle (on Health Insurance): I'm tired of getting raped by insurance companies.

Argle's Insurance Broker: What percentage of your employees buy the coverage?

Argle: I don't know. All I know is I want socialized medicine so I don't have to pay for it anymore.

Argle's Insurance Broker: But that means forcing everyone into buying it.

Argle: So? I want the government to decide this for me.

Argle's HR Manager: You do realize that would mean increased income tax rates for everyone, right? And that individual doctors already are having a hard time surviving with all their own costs.

Argle: I don't care, it's still more money in my pocket.

Argle's Insurance Broker: I'd better make sure you're covered for Employment Pracitices Liability. By the way, did you see the proposal for tort law reform?

Argle: What's tort law reform got to do with it?

Argle's Insurance Broker: Well, it'll limit the rapacious judgements against doctors for medical malpractice, which would drive their medical malpractice insurance rates down.

Argle: So?

AIB: That means doctors can actually afford to practice and charge more reasonable rates for service. Which drives your insurance costs down.

Argle: I need a drink. I'm confused. You mean it'd be better for open market competition?

AIB: Sure. You think with the government running the whole show that the coverage and benefits will be competitive? Don't worry, there will be a plan to cover those who can't obtain their own health insurance. Part of it will be reaped from the tort law savings. But, isn't it better than forcing people to buy something they don't want?

Argle: Oh..

This is really strange.

They are claiming numerous rights and ownership. Like Bin Laden attacked New York so NeoCon's have the right to Lynch Saddam

They were just claiming private Industrial wealth is US Wealth Hank Goldberg makes a few billion dollars and the Reds jump up and claim Bush invented prosperity.

Go big Red Go

You could say the same thing about liberals. I do hate the labels that are thown around in US politics. They prevent real debate about the rights and wrong of policy. You can easy dissmiss an arguement by just saying 'oh your a liberal' or 'your a conservative'. Its a shame.

Here we go with the immature stereotyping again. I am a conservative Christian and I'm not familiar with anything you are talking about. Maybe you should spend more time really getting to know people instead of wasting your time trying to put words in their mouth.

Well since almost 80% of americans are christians technically america is theres. I don't agree with it but they have all the power to get what they want and theres not much we can do about it. Eventually christianity will be the minority religion but it most likely won't happen til after we are all dead and gone.

I think it's time mommy-dearest gave little Junior a swat on the hiney. The world is much bigger than a single minority, when it comes to administrating a country.

What are you even talking about? You are usually more coherent than this but I don't even know what you are refering to this time.

I really don't know the answer to this question -- especially since the US isn't a Christian nation.

The same could easily be said of the virulently anti-religious whackos of the left. Please explain to us how it is you feel so violated and offended when someone utters the word "God" or "faith".
