I reformatted my comp hoping to clean out my hardrive to make some space for games, but now i have even less?

memory, all the music and movies and pics, and game files are all still on there, in like RECYCLE files how do I dump all that?

Just wanna correct the answer given before...
Yes you didn't format your HDD, but when you choose to install fresh OS, choose to quick format (NTFS type) because quick format will not leave anything inside the HDD (selected partition of course)..

You never reformatted the HDD, you either repair it or over-written it...

Insert your OS CD again, and perform a ( fresh installation of Windows)
