My Prof doesn't give us a break in a 2 hour class and so when I get up to go have my cigarette break she yells at me. Whats her problem?

She has obviously has no control over her own life life at home, and feels she has to take it out on you and the rest of the students to compensate and make her feel less worthless. If your paying for the damn class tell her she works for you and that she should be so lucky to have the privilege to teach the great minds of tomorrow, and that you are going to take 3 cigarette breaks per class from that point on and if she has a problem with it, she's going to have to deal with it.

Tell her you are addicted, therefore, you require a reasonable accommodation of a 5 minute smoke break midway through class.
I had a similar issue with a prof b/c I have to pee a lot (apparently, compared to most people). Once I made it a medical issue, he shut right the hell up. I stuck it to him by sitting on the front row the rest of the semester & going out to pee once per lecture even if I coulda held it. ; )

Tell her that it may make her feel more in control of you if she was also aware of the fact that besides her yelling at you, the smoking of the cigarette also causes a submissive release for you, and so it should also follow to reason she should strongly desire this action of your smoking, as it provides release for her as well, but then do not forget to tell her you mostly only get the very best release, as should she, when she yells at you sternly for this very action of smoking itself. Plus tell her adding a little humiliation in the scolding may strengthen such a mutually sought after and gratifying feeling for the both of you.
Then walk away.

If you can't wait 2 hours to have a cigarette there is something wrong. Maybe you should cut back, I'm not going to tell you to quit because I'm a smoker myself but going 2 hours without is not going to kill me or you....

She should give everyone a break. But maybe she's not allowed to do so by the rules of the university.
Maybe you should quit smoking. That would help everything!

Maybe she thinks smoking is bad for you and she'd rather have you studying than taking a smoking break.

Why is it her responsibility to accomodate you smoking? She didn't make you start smoking.
