Why do wwe superstars not break out of the cell and fight on top of it anymore?

There have only been three matches where they haven't gone up top in my memory, it was Nash v. Triple H, Triple H v. Michaels, and Batista v. Triple H. The reason for this is the same reason cruiserweights are asked to go off the top rope sparingly. Vince is very consciencious of his workers for a few years now.

They lock the hell in a cell and i think going on top is illegal in the wwe now

um you cant really say anymore i mean they barely ever show a hell in a cell match

too risky and since they left the attitude era, they have gotton away from things that seem too unpredictably dangerous. With the cell, you never know when it will break

it's probably too unsafe for them to do anymore...hard to "fake" falling off a 20-25 foot structure or even getting pedigreed through the top

They haven't really shown it anymore so that's not really accurate. My guess would be because, like the Inferno match, there are serious risks involved.
