I have a big cement hole filled with good soil and tons of worms?

At least last May there were ton of worm in the dirt that we put in the cement hole. Do you think that the worms survived? I'm putting dog poop in the hole and I want it to decompose. How do I do that anyways?

Get a shovel full, turn it over. Do you see worms?

Get compost starter. You'll need to turn the material every couple weeks for aeration. Best if you add some leaves and vegetation to the compost too.

Otherwise, invest in dung beetles.
