We're thinking about trying it as an April Fool's prank. First, we'd wrap the whole stool in plastic wrap. We were thinking we could use garbage can as a mold. How could we make it work?

Sounds like it should work, but why bother with the plastic wrap. Also, Jello may not have enough tensile strength to remain rigid around an object that large. It may sag and fall off. Maybe the plastic wrap needs to go around the outside as the garbage can is removed.

Anything is possible. Do you realize that jello needs to be refrigerated to set up? Check the box to make the jello Wiggler recipe as it is sturdier.You'll have to put the stool in the can upside down in order for it to be upright when unmolded. The top won't have the jello on it because it will be resting on it in the can. Are you also aware that even the big boxes only make 32 ozs of jello and take 4 hrs. to set up? How many gallon trash can are you going to use?
It seems like a fun idea but I personally think you should go to plan #2.

Why would you put garbage in the refrigerator and worst of all why STOOL,Awwwwww!!!!!!!!!!GROSS!!!!!!!!!
