yes!i also think they should be counseled on it also,to teach them how to use because if done wrong then its not effective!also they should be counseled about sex period!when a teenager has to sneak around and have no guidance they end up with a std or pregnant.in order to get protection from a clinic or Dr.you have to make an appt.if its available at school with proper guidance then there just might be less teenage pregnancies and std's.i don't believe you should condone sex for a teenager but i also know not teaching or without guidance its gonna happen if they have to sneak around and have no birth control!

As long as school personnel take teenage girls to the abortion centers, as they do in CA..................teenage girls should be given free condoms for their safety and to keep unwanted pregnancies down. Just because condoms are available for free does not mean that teenagers will be more or less sexually active. It just sends the message: If you are going to have sex, do it as safely as possible.

Never "in school" but I believe they should be able to get them without parental concent from clinics. Teenage pregnancy is such a sad event for the teens because of the direction a baby takes them when they should be moving forward without the responsibilities of a baby to care for. But, never in the schools.

No, not unless they want to be on it. I would hate it,as a virgin, if someone forced me to take something to protect me from STDs and I am not sexually active.
However, I am on the pill, I have had horribly painful and heavy periods since I started.

Yes, no matter what the parents say. Most times, they're going to do something like that anyway. If they're prepared and know how to do it safely, it's better for everyone.

I believe that they should have the choice, without there parents knowing. Parents shouldnt be so strict. I wish i could take BC just so i would have regular periods, and if i was foced to have sex. It would be safer.

They should be made available at the school nurse's office, but not just handed out randomly.
