That is a very good size to be at for football. Good speed too. You could easily be a good tight end. Maybe a little big for a wide receiver, but then Hines Ward is big. You would make a good linebacker, but as a freshman you know you will get bigger. You will not still be 6-2 and 165 when you are a senior, so I wouldn't bother trying cornerback or safety. Your best position would probably be linebacker.

How are your hands? If you have decent hands I'd say OLB, a catching TE, or a WR.
If you end up on offense, you'd be generally good at Special Teams.
Or, I don't really recommend this, but you could play on both sides of the ball. You'd get tired fast, but at least you can find out what you want to be quicker for your Sophomore year.

Well if you have some girth in your family history, then outside linebacker/defensive end would seem to be the spot for you. If your family history shows a lot of thiness, then free safety would seem to be the best spot of defense.
On offense I see you as a tight end, if you play on a team that throws the ball often.

You would probably a pretty good DB or a possibly a WR. If you put on some weight you would make a good linemen, TE, FB or LB. But with you current weight i'd go with one of the first two.

in case you have some velocity, are reliable, and could cover people who're working and shifting, play secure practices. in spite of if, given which you savour hitting. I even have heard that playing secure practices in intense college is relaxing given which you may hit WRs whilst bypass performs are run, yet you additionally can flow up and hit RBs plenty simply by fact there are this way of large form of run performs in HS ball. in case you do in contrast to hitting, yet are reliable and function good palms, play TE. in case you at the instant are not very reliable yet have good palms, play WR. And in case you're speedy, then i prefer to advise you hit the load room and improve to one hundred eighty-a hundred ninety pounds of muscle. Then play RB. I promise which you would be dominant as a 6'2"+, 185 pound speedy RB in intense college.

Sounds like you would be a good TE or DE. As you progress, you may be able to play WR. Concentrate on speed improvement. That is what most college coaches are focusing on right now.
