We need to get over our fear of the unknown. I know that sounds dramatic, but so much prejudice comes from a lack of understanding or knowledge and a refusal to learn. I'd like to see more about other cultures taught in social studies. I know they are to some extent in world history, but I'd like to see an actual class that just deals with the cultures and all they entail. I think as a nation we all need to realize that it is okay to think something in another culture is different, but we shouldn't put them down just because we think it's odd.

I think we need to learn more about other cultures in order to recognise that even though someone is of a different culture or race, they are still people. We can't believe that our culture is better than other cultures, and have to accept that people have a right to believe what they want. Once we accept that everyone on the planet is in this together, and that we are all humans, it becomes easier to live peacefully. I think we all benefit from learning more about other people.

If we took some time out of our lives to understand other cultures, and stop blaming people for everything bad that happens-forget history and start fresh.

First, we should THINK before we open our mouths and say something stupid cause that never helps.

Second we should overcome the fear we have and be open to talking to people from other cultures with respect and I think we would learn to trust eachother.

Third, we should never base our opinions solely on stereotypes, rumors, or t.v. but on these personal relationships.

If you don't know someone personally from a specific culture, you don't know enough to speak on it.

Stop talking about it and live it. By doing that you lead by example. And when you respect others, they respect you.

My experience has shown that to be true 98% of the time. When you treat others the way you want to be treated, they usually do the same in return.

We already are!! Jesus Christ, are we supposed to liquidate our assets when they arrive? How about understand our culture and religions? Esp if they immigrated here. Seriously, would you go to another nation and actually expect them to go out of their way to understand you? You are a classic case of a brain-washed liberal.

Let's see... we can start by electing a president who does not have Christianizing the world as part of his agenda.
