what happened to patient confidentiality...and do you think they should be sacked?

Yes he deserves to be sacked.
he broke the rules.
If Johnny Depp wanted the press to know about his daughter being ill then he would have arranged a press conference.
Then again the paper shouldn't have printed the story either did they ask Johnny's permission after all his daughter is a minor

I don't know what country the hospital is in but taking a guess it sounds like the UK, where hospital workers are poorly paid and whoever has done this is almost definitely jumping on the bandwagon of 'selling your story'. It's a shame but a sign of the times. If the person is a nurse then I don't think he/she should be sacked but definitely severely reprimanded.

He does need to be sacked. If she is so ill, she is all that Johnny should have to worry about, he shouldn't have to worry about the press being around.
I really hope that this worker is ashamed of themself.
It's all well and good that Johnny is in the public eye, but don't force his daughter to be.

Yes! They should be! I haven't heard this, but it would be a very time if she is seriously ill. If I were a parent and something like that got out without my authorization, I would have the person fired. The leak is just adding to the stress that family has to go through now. What a horrible person!

i think the hopital worker that told the press johnny deep daugter was in the hopital should be fired because that should be priavte when a child is sick that is none bussiness. if johnny depps wanted us to know he would of went public.

Yes the poor man has enough to worry about without the added worry that a mob of fans is outside or worse trying to get in her room! I get that he is famous but he is a person and a father leave his family in peace! And Yes fire the fool that told!
