As an age in the whole - NO, I don't think 37 is too old to be bearing children. However, yes however, my worry would be the physical health aspect of the age. Our bodies just aren't like they used to be - yours isn't the same at 37 as it was just a mere two years ago at 35.

For a man, no worries!! For women, our bodies are trying to do it's thing and every year that passes we get closer to it all turning it's full circle. I would say it would be a little hard physically and your stamina will surely be tested when you're chasing little ones but by all means, if you are ready now and your body is still fertile enough to bear that baby you are longing, then go for it. Don't let the age barrier stop you.

If you aren't working out with an exercise regime just yet, start! It will do you a world of good when it comes to everything motherhood has to offer ---- from the birth to the toddler years right down to the teenager years. Start building your stamina and physical health so this will be a lot easier.

Best wishes and good luck.

PERSONALLY - I prefer to be a younger mum, because when my child is 20 I still want to be young, and I'll have longer to spend with them, and see my grandchildren, possible even great granchildren. However thats just me. Everyone is different, my uncle is 50 and I'm not sure how old his wife is, but they have 10 children between them, ranging from 26 down to 3, and they also run a farm, and they seem like theyre doing great. oh yeah, also the body thing, its much easier on your body when you're young, I had my baby at 20, a year later, back in shape no stretch marks, no dieting or special exercise either.

Definitely not........ I had my first child only 5 months ago and i am 37. If your healthy and want to have a baby go for it. They are life changing but very much worth it. It is the best feeling having this person that you and partner created. Istill cry at times when i look at him. No one can prepare you for that over whelming feeling of love when you hold them for the first time. Go for it . Good luck

Congrats on your being pregnant!! I had a 10lb toddler certainly, and that i will inform you, it replaced into no relaxing, lol. i replaced into depressing, I had 4th degree tearing and an extremely lengthy restoration. I pushed for almost 3 hours earlier she got here out. I had a unfavorable unfavorable usual practitioner who misjudged my daughter's weight by using 4 pound earlier she replaced into born and then refused to accomplish a c-area even whilst the nurses have been asserting that according to risk it replaced into time. i think of that if I had a greater able usual practitioner i might have had a c-area. I had a c-area with my twins and had a dazzling adventure. That being reported, each and every physique is diverse, and each lady handles delivery in a various way. talk your recommendations over consisting of your rfile and then do what feels outstanding on your heart (and of path, what's phenomenal for the toddler). in spite of in case you furnish your toddler, the tip result's dazzling!!

You're asking for a personal opinion, so that's what I'm giving:

If you are afraid of having a disabled child, then yes, it is too late.

The risks increase with each passing year. A woman's fertility is declining too, so you may not even have the choice.

But on the other hand, many women have done it, and most of their children are perfectly normal.

Nope. I wouldn't recommend it as an intentional choice to a young person--the younger your body, the easier the whole thing is going to be--but I have several friends who had their first at 37 or older.

No i do not think it is too old. My mom had our little brother when she was 38 but she had already had 6 kids prior to him. I didn't look at her like she was so too old to be having another kid.
I know of women just having their first babies in their 40's.
Good luck

No way. These days women have babys much later on. Age is a number, as long as you are fit and able to care and provide for you child then their is no reason why not.
