There are many different reasons why some women can't have babies.

Age, as women age their eggs become less receptive to sperm. or they may have less eggs.

Medication, this may be medication taken when they were a child, an adult or whatever that decreases their chances of fertility.

Biological reasons some women may only produce an egg every other month, which reduces their chances of becoming pregnant by 50%. Some may produce an egg even less.

Psychological reasons, some women may actually "resist" becoming pregnant because of stress, emotional traumas, etc..

There are various reasons as to why. Some women cannot get pregnant at all and some cannot carry a baby very long. The reasons are too many to list. Try going to Wikipedia for a list of reasons.
But to some up what I think you are really wanting to know, some women are just born with conditions that cause infertility.
Good luck on your research.

There's a lot of different reasons. Some women are actually allergic to sperm (it's rare but true). Some have a natural spermicide in their system that makes it very hard to conceive (also rare but true). Some have medical reasons, some cant carry a baby to term. It makes me sad to see all these women who want a baby so bad but cant have one when other women throw their babies lives away.

Some of them could have Endometreosis, or some could have never started their periods (so their bodies are not producing female "parts" that could contract a child), or some could have been in bad car accidents where their body parts have been crushed, or damaged and are now too weak to do so. There are many different reasons, way too many to list, but those are some of the most common, and cists also.

You know, it isn't always the women who are the problem. Men have fertility issues as well.

Possible reasons for infertility in women:
endometriosis
PCOS
fibroids
not enough eggs
previous ectopic pregnancies
scar tissue
can't ovulate
erratic menstrual cycles
cervical cancer

etc etc etc
