i tryto connect my ipod to the computerto charge it but?

it wont work on this computer. i didnt change anything so why wont it work? it works on the other ones. it just has a ballon pop up that says it doesnt recognize the USB port?

maybe your computer is old and not up to the latest technology if not go get it checked if not begg for a new computer by the way did you put it in the right plug??!!??!! good luck
