I've heard lots of Doves cry. But their really not crying, their cooing, it's their way of talking to their mate or finding one. Their talk goes something like this, Female to male. Yes baby I'm home, did you bring me some seeds? I'll set on this nest no longer, don't you know I have needs. Male, baby I love your lovey dovey kisses, but give me a moment if you please, you know I like my beer when I get home, well I be darn you ate all the cheese. Female, it's the same every day, all you do is swack and never aim to please.
