no one really knows for sure why. a lot of people are saying because she has problems or she is just plain crazy. personally i think it's that she has been the center of attention with the media and all. it's probably driving her nuts! i mean they are always talking about her relationships and her baby but can't we just give her a break and leave her alone? That's what a few other people think too but once again, it is unsure why she went bald. That's a good question!

For some bizarre reason, she shaved all her hair off, some say because she wants attention, others say it's because she's having problems with addictions. She is rumored to visiting many clinics recently where she enroles to get clean asap, while leaving the clinic after several hours or days again.

because she had a mental broke down and because she was going throw a divorce hearing and they where going to get a hair sample and check her hair for drugs. i also think she was on a night of partying try to drink her pain away and she could not control her self anyone and she did some bad behavirol so she could be in the public eye again

she's bald because she saved it, silly.
but personally, i think she did it because of postpartum depression. she had 2 kids in the past year or so. so she's got it twice as bad.
also, she left her husband.
so i think she's going through some life issues... and i think it'd be best if the paparazzi just leave her alone because they are making it worse for her.
but i feel bad for her, i don't like her, but no one should have to go through that.

Britney is going through a mental depression stage now... she probably shaved her head to "revolt" against the media image enforced on her by her chosen profession. Apparently she's sick of it but doesn't know how to form her own identity.

She shaved her head. She cracked under the stress of her life and did something drastic. Getting a coupld of new tattoos and shaving her head was one of her outlets. Lots of people snap like that, but they aren't celebrities and a lot of people with children try to keep their cool for the sake of their children. Brittaney is acting like a self indulgent brat.

I heard and read that she had over-teased, over-dyed, over-curled, and over-straightened her hair 'till it was a mess! Like Madonna, she shaved her head in order to regrow new and healthier hair. No one made such a fuss when Madonna did the same thing.
