What are the options for going to school if you can't afford it?

I tried looking up info on grants, but most of the sites I found I have to buy a book to find out. Is there a way to find out if I qualify for grants without buying anything? And I don't know anything about financial aid, do you pay back the loan after graduating? And what if I don't qualify for financial aid? Sorry the question is so long but I have so many questions and can't find any answers.

I'm not in high school, I'm 25 lol.

You can research until your eyes bleed but you will get nowhere, trust me. The best thing that you can do, and the only thing really, is to see the financial aid department at the school you plan to attend at least one year before you plan to attend.
Even if you don't get the financial aid that you wanted it doesn't mean that you are in trouble anyway. You will be guaranteed school loans that you won't have to pay until after you graduate. You can also defer your loans up one year after you graduate to start solidifying your income.

Amy, if you are still in school, talk to your guidance councilor. If you are not, see if your old guidance councilor will talk to you. If you know someone who is still in school, find out when the next career day is and see if you can attend.

You can probably take a loan or some colleges are need-based.
