i liked my barbies too, but i grew up with three brothers all around my age and of course ended up playing with their toys too. my all time favorite toys turned out to be their plastic dinosaur collection. recently i hadn't been able to come up with what i wanted to major in at college and time was runnin out. i came across a quote one day that says "If, in moving through your life, you find yourself lost, go back to the last place where you knew who you were, and what you were doing, and start again from there." ~ Bernice Johnson Reagon - i'm a little embarrassed to say the last place i probably knew who i was, is when i was just some simple ignorant little kid lol! (you know the whole "ignorance is bliss" thing?) well i took this smart woman's advise, i decided on archaeology (goin back to the dinosaur thing) and i don't feel as lost any more.......sorry for rambling but your question sparked somethin in my brain there, thank you for askin it

I had a 1-foot long ugly plastic brontosaurus, and a big old plastic T-Rex that was a little better looking. Those suckers went with me everywhere!

Otherwise, I was either making up stories about my My Little Ponies, or building houses for them out of blocks and / or Leggos.

The coolest toy, though, were theses really big waffle blocks we had.... I built a cage for my baby sister when I was too young to understand that it would be traumatizing. That thing held her good until my parents realized where she had gone. ^_^ Its a miracle my sister still talks to me.
