Smart guys like intelligent, sweet, attractive (a subjective opinion) girls. For some reason the idea that blonde's get special attention came to be a long time ago but that isn't so.
It's also helpful to have nice physical attributes.

Coming from a male perspective i like any kind of girl but with alot of curls the hair does not matter to me the only thing that counts is whats on the inside

most: thin and curvy
truth: guys usually look for someone about as hot as they think they are, that way they don't shortchange themselves and the girl isn't going to leave him as soon as something better comes along.

Every guy is different ever one of us likes different things about girls and some times different things about different girls... the thing is to not change what you are for guys but to find the guys that are into you. that way when you do connect (Friendship dating, beyond) you are you and not trying to be someone else! sounds corny but it is true.

i know you are looking for the opinion of guys but all guys have different tastes...maybe you are just trying to take a poll, im not sure? but anyway, most guys change their preference in females quite often...very few have a specific type forever.
