can continential breakfasts be free at some hotels or do they usually cost? some friends and I are getting up some money to go to disney world next year for our high school graduation party and we are looking for an inexpensive hotel to stay in for the 4 days and we saw when we were looking "continential breakfast" and didn't know if it was the same as complimentary breakfast does anyone know? what kinds of things could we do around to get some personal money for hte trip? we are going to earn like 50-60 dollars each of us just for the 4 days so we can individually get food and a suviniere. (sp?) if anyone has any ideas that would be greatly appreciated. thanks

If it lists continental breakfast under the room rate, then it's probably included.

If you'll have access to a car, then you can always buy some food and keep it in the room. East as little as possible in the park - it's incredibly overpriced.

pack powerbars and similar items - they can help take the edge off.

Have fun!

A continental breakfast is one that consists of toast, coffee, rolls, maybe cereal. Not a full breakfast which could include eggs, potatoes, pancakes and the like. Unless it states that the breakfast is complimentary it will cost you money. The hotels outside of WDW like in Kissemee are a lot cheaper than the park hotels. Some offer complimentary shuttle service to and from the park at specified hours. If you don't do that you need a car and have to pay $12 a day to park at WDW. Once inside the park you can use the Disney transportation bus for free. Depending when you go the cheap hotels around Kissemee will run from $60 to $180 a night for a room. Tickets for the Park will be expensive. Depending on what you get included i.e. water parks, park hopper will run around $90 and the food will be the real killer, very expensive.

I don't know of anything legal to help you with the extra money.

If you are booking this through an agent, make sure he/she is aware that you are interested in a complimentary breakfast with the room. If you are doing this on your own, do your homework and research the hotel you are planning to stay in. You can try hotels.com to find what you need. If you cannot find this information, but you find a hotel you like, you can always call them. Most have an 800 number so you don't have to run up your phone bill or you can email them your questions.

It costs like 60 bucks a day just to get into Disney World. If you stay outside the park property, you will have to get transportation to the park $$$ or it you drive it's, I think, $10 to park each day. The mouse does not sell his cheese for less. Expect to pay more for rodent cuisine. Have you really thought this trip through? Maybe a trip to Clearwater and just hang at the beach. and eat at Post Corner Pizza.

If the say 'continental breakfast' it means its free.

The try to make it sound great but it just usually means donuts, coffee, OJ, cereal, yogurt and if you're lucky some powdered eggs and waffles.
