It's called the 'Inscribed Circle (aka I.C.)' and it's the largest circle that can be drawin inside a planed surface or certain geometric shape, such as triangles and polygons.

This is a geometry format in which the circle is inscribed within a triangle. This means that every side of the triangle is tangent (Touches only one point) to the circle.

Now that we said they're tangent, we can say that the parts of the triangle from the point of tangency ( the point the tangent touches on the circle) are congruent from the point they connect at. (The vertex) These are commonly used in "walk-around" problems, where you are trying to find an entire side of the triangle, and have both other sides.
