When ever I fill in an "interests" section, I feel like I should put dancing, since I dance around the house alot. I don't take ANY dance lessons, and I don't dance any specific kinds of dance. Do I really Dance?

Sure!

Whose to say you're not.?

I put in sing. Can I sing. Sure! Am I good, no. But that doesn't make my singing less important then a professional singing in their homes....

you love to dance, put it down!

Be proud. It's part of YOU!

Any form of dancing is dancing. If you enjoy it, you should definitely put it in. The whole idea behind these "interests" sections is to let people know a little bit about you. If you enjoy dancing, that tells people something about you. You don't have to be a trained dancer, or for that matter even good at it to say you like it.
For example, I'm a terrible bowler, but I enjoy it so I often put it down.

As long as it's a survey there's no problem, and it's truthful. It might be embarrasing to be mistaken for a trained dancer if there's a chance you'll be asked to dance, but that depends entirely on the reason for the form, and if you're talking about personals ads you'll have to be a bit reticent.

If your interested in it then yeah you do it and it can be counted as dancing. If you are really interested in it you could consider taking dance lessons. Its really fun and even if you aren't good at it it is still really enjoyable.

If you devote as much time to your dancing around the house as someone else who would mark down "reading" or "needlepoint," then sure, dancing is an interest that engages you.
