I prefer Depeche Mode way more. What about you guys?

Depeche Mode is waaaaaaay better than New Order, especially for the past 15 years or so. Most people don't know that New Order has been putting out new stuff as consistently as DM, becuase it's not as good. DM has changed their sound with the times, and New Order sounds the same from album to album.

Depeche Mode by far!
I didn't even know New Order kept putting out songs past 1988. DM's songs evolved from the cheesy synth pop of the early 80's to much better music later in the late 80's and 90's. New Order kind of seemed to stay the same and stuck in the early 80's.

Depeche Mode. New Order was great but didn't have the volume of songs - no where close.

Depeche Mode has much better music. Dave Gahan is a great singer and an entertaining front man. They are awsome live.

Violator is by far the best album out of either band's collections
and the fact that Gahan is still alive after his years of heroin abuse makes it that much more amazing that Mode lasted this long
too bad Alan Wilder left the band tho
