I've always heard that criminals are dumb. How many have signed up to donate their hearts in exchange for only one life sentence?
What was your crime? Taking notes? It's not nice to steal. If you donate your piano and trombone you will no longer be band from Clara's net. You will get in tune with her at last and enjoy the sax together. Better get her a nice ring as a cymbal of your love.
