I am due to get married soon and I am so in love with my fiance people are always saying negitive things like don't love too much cuz you never know what will happen and i think thats garbage how can i plan on marrying a man but anticipating my mariage is not going to last and reserving my heart jus in case..........what do u think?

No, don't listen to that garbage. I was scared of being hurt, and I didn't allow myself to fully love my husband since I didn't want to get hurt. I ended up hurting him and myself. The first two years were tough, and now things are back on track since I decided that if I am going to get hurt, that is my own fault! I'm glad that you and your fiance have a great relationship. Do not reserve yourself. You will never be able to fully open yourself up to this person and let them love you. I like things a lot better now than I did before. You two were brought together for a reason, and don't let anyone tell you how to love someone, or how to protect your heart. It's your life, your fiance, and nobody should get in the way of true love.

There's a difference between love and obsession. Your friends are worried that you are tipping into the latter. They want you to keep a balanced perspective and a strong sense of self.
Think about it - would you jump off a cliff to prove your love for your fiance? No, that would be ridiculous, right? It's sounds great to say, a sweeping declaration of impassioned love, but it's also obsessive and ridiculous.
Reassure your friend that you are keeping a level perspective, and not letting your passion completely overrule your reason.

i dont agree with what the others are sayings to u.how can u marry a man if u are not in love with him totally.life is about taking risks .go head and love your man and dont be afraid to say it out loud.there is no 'just in case' here.u r getting marry to the love of ur life.those people around u are too negative. they are sending u bad vibes.avoid them at least for now.

I believe you CAN love someone too much but only if you lose your self in the process. Another human being can become like a drug is to an addict. Just don't lose your self and you will be fine. Always remember to set your boundaries and never allow your self to be stepped on over LOVE....Congrats!

you CAN love your man as much as you like.. but the most important is the trust and integrity must be there through good and bad times esp financial crisis, cheating & betrayal, kids and so on.
i've seen old couples who married 10 yrs and then they divorced while having kids.
Read more books on love-lasting marriage and look for consultation (just in case...) and above all..work on it!

Ignore them and do what feels right for you. No one can second guess what will happen in their lives all we can do is the best we can at the time.You love him he loves you its up to you both to make it work, no one else.
