Hey wuts up,
If your looking for a deck thats gonna last long and has good quality wood, good concave and a good feel to it, I would also say get a 7''2 board or a medieum sized deck,
Krooked skateboards are great, they'r part of the Dexlue Distribution along with
1) Real Skateboards
2) Antihero skateboards
3) Thunder trucks
4) Spitfire wheels
If you think im some poser trying to lose you off to some bad deck your wrong, check http://www.dlxsf.com/ or type Deluxe Distribution into google and you can get the real facts on the dexule distribution. They use better quality wood than any other brand.
Thats just my opinion, Good luck with finding the right deck for you, And enjoy skateing

Your height doesn't really have anything to do with board size selection; it's what you will do with your board that decides that. Street skaters usually use a 7.5"-8" board. Any well known brand would do, although I personally prefer Darkstar.

Hmm..I don't think your height really does have to do anything with the board..i don't know.
If you're just skating street and not at a skatepark, get a 7.5" board, easy to flip.
If you're skating vert like on halfpipes and stuff get 8"+ board to land on it easier, but it's like very hard to flip.
Skating both-gotta get 7.75"-8" can flip and land it good.
Like the dude said, get Zero..very strong boards. But if you like something else go with it.

I absolutely love plan B's.
I would get a 7.75 plan B board with krux trucks and spitfire firelight wheels.
This is my favorite setup and its awesome for flip tricks
I learned to kickflip almsot everytime with my plan b.
And my krux trucks are the best out of the 5 different kinds ive tried,
Spitfire firelight wheels are Awesome. I have used spitfire wheels before, and wasnt really pleased with them until i tried the firelight wheels from spitfire and they are awesome
Good luck finding that board, and HAPPY SKATEBOARDING!!!!!

kickflip's dont deppend on the board. Its the size and the skill that the skater has. I would say an 7.5
maybe this site can help http://skateboard.about.com/od/boardmaintenance/ss/ChoosingSkBoard_2.htm
