I like the name, but it does remind me of Cedric the Entertainer.

When I hear the name Cedric I think of Harry Potter.

Well, when I hear Cedric it makes me think of the character on the show Laguna Beach that was named Cedric, but aside from him, the name Cedric makes me think of royalty. It sounds very sophisticated. I like it :)

Don't "kill" me, but when I hear the name "Cedric" I think of someone in a ghetto. I like Joel, though. Just a suggestion: Joel Lucus.

I don't know why but when I hear that name I think of a rusty brick wall. I'm not sure why. I like the name Mathias Joel though.

Unusual is good, then your child won't have the same name as half the boys in his class. Go with it!!

it sounds to much like a 80yr old mans name or a butler I dont like it and cant imagine a person in a high up profession having this name
