Truthfully,(and I hate to say this) you will probably need to move to a community that is more friendly towards GLBT.

We need to get the fanatical religious right out of politics so start by voting (if you don't already do so) by keeping a separation of church and state. Don't vote for leaders who believe that it is OK to mix the two - it's not.

Try joining a support group if it is only on-line. It will help you understand and share the expierences you are having.

Good luck to you.

is there any way you can move away from the homophobic society you live in and move to a city with a larger gay community? I live in a big city, and sure, I was closeted for a long time until I got older and wiser. I'm not out to everyone and accepted by my family, friends and coworkers. I've finally learned not to let the jerks keep me down!

At 15, i could say first, attempt to discover a various team of friends.. even having No "friends" is extra perfect than surrounding your self with people/attitudes like that. you're youthful yet, you do no longer could tell all of us you're a lesbian while you at the instant are not soft doing so. Theres particularly no reason to open your self as much as that style of detrimental therapy. there is plenty occurring in simple terms with schoolwork, throwing in that kinda distractions in simple terms are not needed. provide it it sluggish, get out of school.. stay existence alittle. regrettably, being gay/lesbian, you will continuously run into homophobia, hate, lack of understanding and each so often rude questions. Its slowly changing, yet quite some places are slower to seize up than others. whether, in case you experience the pick, and your secure practices should not be compromised, maybe see approximately commencing a gay promptly Alliance on your college. i'm particular there are different gay/lesbian scholars which will stand beside you and optimistically a handful of promptly scholars that are open to studying something new. stable success, the two way you pass. :)

Society accepts me just fine, thanks.
(Of course, I do live in California.) :o)

Seriously, if you are having problems with people or your location, leave them behind. You need a supportive environment. This may be difficult, but in the long run, much better for you.

If your family values loving you more than making prejudicial value judgements, they will come around. Maybe not tomorrow, or next week, but they will.
How do I know? Personal experience.

Good luck!

The sad fact is is that you'll probably have to move to live to the fullest. You could talk to them and they might react differently, which is great, but if they don't you'll probably never look at you again without seeing that small part of your life.
That doesn't mean you shouldn't try though. You never know.

That is awful. I don't understand people. Sexually has nothing to do with character and ethics. I have never been in that situation, so Don't know. I am dealing with disabilities.

Quit defining your life with your genitalia.

Decide who you want to hang with based on who you enjoy being around and not on sexual stereotypes.
