5/6z=10
you have to find z. First think - why isn't z isolated? what's happening to it? = the z is being multiplied by 5/6
the opposite of multiplying is dividing - so you need to divide both sides by 5/6
but when you divide by a fraction, you have to flip it and multiply by it instead - so really you're multiplying both sides by 6/5 -
5/6z *(6/5) =10 * (6/5)
z = 60/5
you can simplify this by dividing 60 by 5
z = 12

Hi first of all you did not put the fraction right I think
if z is in the denominator then its correct .. so in this instance I am giving you two answers one where z is in numerator and other where it is in the denominator
5z
--- =10
6
then move 6 over to the numerator on the Right hand side and multiply with 10
5z = 10 x 6 = 60
now to find z you can divide 60 by 5
z= 60 / 5 = 12
similarly if you have z in the bottom
like
5
----- = 10
6z
you get
6z= 5 /10 =0.5
z= 0.5/6 = 0.083333
which I think is not what your problem is

Make the fraction genuine heavy by technique of looking how many eigths there are all jointly. 8 entire inches each and each have 8 products 8x8=sixty 4 then upload the better 7/8 sixty 4+7 = seventy one 8 7/8 is comparable to seventy one/8 the cage might desire to be 4 circumstances as tall so multiply 71x4 =284 so which you like the cage to be 284/8 then you definately could locate how many entire inches there are so which you divide 284 by technique of 8 =35 .5 so the cage must be 35 a million/2 inches the closest is D.) 36 in

multiply each side by 6z, this gives you 5=60z now you divide by 60 on both sides. Now reduce 5/60 and you get 1/12 so 1/12 =z

if you meant 5/(6z)=10
multiply z for both sides because you don't want the variable to be on the bottom
5/6 = 10z
divide 10 for both sides
z = 1/12
if you meant (5/6)z = 10
multiply 6/5 for both sides
z = 12

Appericated or Appreciated? anywayz, here's the solution...
first, multiply 6z to both sides of the equation to get...
5 = 10(6z)
using distributive property of equality
5 = 60z
by division property of equality (divide both sides by 60)
z = 1/12

(5/6)z = 10
Multiply both sides by the reciprocal of 5/6
(6/5)(5/6)z = (6/5)(10)
z = 12

5/6x=10
ok fist you have to find the LCD of both numbers which is 6 so you would multiply that by each term so you get
5x=60
so then you do 60/5 which is 12 so 12 is your answer
