Hopefully even though I doubt Chuck Hagel isn't a neo-con. The owners of this country pretty much bought out all the politicians already.

In the current party environment, the Republicans should choose someone who will appeal to both parties, but with an emphasis on the moderates; that person is probably Giuliani. Not only does he have the positive "name recognition" factor, some of his politics will appeal to both moderates and liberals as well as conservatives.

I still think the GOP will go with Guiliani because he's more recognizable with people than Hagel. A sign of the times perhaps, but neither political party seems to have a solid presidential candidate.

No. it would alienate his base and Obama is already so dispised by using Conservatives and knowledgeable independents simply by fact of his racist comments and help of the Orange Democratic social gathering in Kenya that it somewhat is tremendously plenty impossible to get any knowledgeable self reliant or Conservative to vote for him. I are looking forward to a McCain win such as the Nixon win in 1972, landslide win for an administration embroiled in controversy that replaced into accused of breaking into the Democratic Committee marketing campaign Headquarters for the time of the election. Conservatives and Independents have been so pissed on the Dems for fielding George Wallace that even after McGovern replaced Wallace whilst Wallace replaced into shot Nixon gained with a landslide that replaced into stunning. think of if GWB were accused of breaking in for the time of the 2004 elections. are you able to think of how plenty the Dems have been hated in 1972? appears like that is going to ensue back. surely this could be a replay of the Dems playing to some distance to their base, an identical way they did in 1972.

Chuck Hagel? One of the most adamantly anti-Iraq Republicans? Very unlikely. The war may not have the majority support it had, but the vast majority of those who do still support it are Republicans. Even if he's electable, he'd have a truly difficult time winning any primaries.

I hope not, Giuliani makes a better candidate than Hagel.

Chuck Hagel isn't that conservative. He is going absolutely nowhere. There is a long time between now & the conventions, a lot could change.
