i think all the time about how to start some kind of business in my area a small town something that i could make some money i have a full time job but i want to be my own boss i cook well very good with people not real good with office skills but i could learn

You could keep your present job for a while, and do catering on the side--until you are well-established, and can make it on your own.

If you want to do office work at home, you could probably get training from the unemployment office, an employment agency, or by taking some computer courses at your local community college.

Check out all of the careers you can learn at your community college--you might be surprised to find that you can become a chef, a pastry maker, a candy maker, a computer specialist, the list goes on...

Start a business at home. You could make baked goods for parties, business meeting, weddings, etc. Put ads in the paper to promote the new business. You could do something like Marge on the "pretzel wagon" Simpsons episode, only successfully. It may take some time to get a decent flow of customers, but don't give up. Make sure to tell everyone you know about your business.
