Ventrilo??????

Question

I have Ventrilo and I have no idea how it works. I want to talk to my friend and she has it too but she doesn't know how to use it either. So can someone please please help me with it step by step. Another question does "server" mean you put yourself in their or your friend and then where do you get the host name?

According to the Wikipedia article, you run a client and connect to a server. I have never used it.

I have used Teamspeak. With it, you can set yourself up as a server and have your friend connect to it (or vice versa).
