if they send you money, tell you to deduct what they owe you, and send the change back. The check is fraud and they get some real money back.

go with your gut instinct, it's rarely wrong. Most scams involve you giving money. that's always the bottom line. The quicker they get to this, the weaker their sale pitch is, and the lamer they are.
