The roaches are getting into your dishwasher from somewhere else.
You can get roach killer, but it's so toxic for everything else if you have pets or children.
Go to a health food store and ask, They might have a natural way of getting rid of them.
If all else fails, get some info from an exterminator.

You need to get some boric acid!!
Boric acid will wipe out all the roaches no matter where they are. Roaches are mostly water {fluids} and boric acid is like a salt, it will dry them up.
As they go back to their holes and die the other roaches will eat their bodies and will also die.
Boric acid can be purchased at most pharmacies; it can poison your pets & kids so be positive to put in places that are not accessable to them; inside & under the dishwasher, under or behind the fridge, stove, etc..

They live in the drains and come up at night through the pipes when the water isn't running. That's why they're in your dishwasher. Most of the time they come up through the bath hole or sink holes etc. You have to get an exterminator to deal with the drains as well as the house. Meanwhile try and close the drains at night. I don't know how you would do this in the dishwasher but stop up all the sinks etc.
Roaches are unclean and carry disease. You should deal with it as soon as possible.
Good luck.

Most likely you have roaches throughout your entire house. You need to call an exterminator. He drives up in a van that has picture of huge dead roach laying on its back with its legs up in the air. So tell him to park in front of your neighbors house. LMAO

Run your washer with some added brown vinegar and bi-carb soda. Then leave some sugar sweetener like equal, splenda etc., around the base of washer. This will kill the little blighters. Its really nasty stuff this equal, a very small amount from an equal sachet killed one of my mice, within 12 hours it was dead.

Fumigate your home! Roaches are sneaky & they're all over the place. They like to hide in dark places so I would suggest to fumigate.
